Publishers ‘must do better’ on diversity: Creative Access Feature in The Bookseller
Creative Access’ Chief Executive, Josie Dobrin recently spoke to The Bookseller to discuss the lack of ethnic minorities in the publishing sector. She says “If you want to reflect society you need to be representative of it. If you have employees all from the same cohort—be it all women, or all from one part of the country—you are not reflective of society.” The article also features contributions from some of Creative Access’ publishing media partner where they discuss the benifits of having a diverse workfoce and how the sector can recruit more people from BAME backgrounds.
