Online open workshops

Join other like-minded individuals for an open workshop, led by our senior training team of clinical psychologists and diversity experts. We cap attendance at 15 attendees to allow all participants enough time to ask questions and interact.

All workshops will provide a safe space in which to raise questions and practice responses and a supportive environment for learning, reflection and relaxed conversation. All sessions take place via zoom and are not recorded. Post-training resources are circulated to participants.

Inclusive line management

This workshop runs regularly every two months.

Next date: Thursday 19th June 2025, 2.30 – 4.00pm

  • The life cycle of the CA Springboard entry support programme; from induction to approaching the end of the traineeship, preparing for next steps
  • The expectations of your working relationship
  • Understanding intersectional identities and power imbalances
  • What are the stumbling blocks, and how to overcome them
  • Support with next steps, approaching the end of their contract

Building resilience

Tuesday 13th May 2025, 10.30am – 12pm

Led by a consultant clinical psychologist, this 90-min workshop aims to provide tools on managing our wellbeing in the workplace. We’ll look at:

  • Recognising and managing stress and creating work-life balance
  • What do we mean by work-life balance? how does this look within your organisation?
  • Exploring what happens when we feel ‘imbalance’ and what may contribute to this
  • Connecting with ‘hidden’ or ‘unspoken’ stories and experiences of staff
  • Managing personal and professional boundaries; drawing on principles of empathy and compassion to create balance at home and work
  • Creating a language for emotional literacy and focusing on self-care
  • Drawing on inner strengths and resources as individuals and as part of a team
  • ‘Rupture and repair’; using mistakes and feedback as opportunities for growth

The workshop will be held under Chatham House Rules, so all attendees can share ideas and best practice in a safe, interactive and reflective environment.

This was brilliant training – only 90 minutes but it felt like I learned so much in a short amount of time! I felt challenged but also I had a lot of things to think about and action as a result of this training.
