Training

Creative Access offers first-class diversity, equity and inclusion training and virtual open workshops to support organisations and individuals. We run hundreds of in-person and virtual sessions every year across the UK, which create safe spaces to explore topics in the context of current social justice movements, mental health and the constantly evolving DEI landscape in the creative sphere. Our trainers hold senior positions in their field and have lived experience of the issues that they address.

Training approach

  • Led by senior industry experts our trainers all have lived experience of the topics they cover and many have worked in the cultural and creative industries. Our neurodiversity and mental health training is led by our team of practicing clinical psychologists

Co-curated – we’ll work with you to understand the needs of your organisation and the individuals working within it

Rooted in communities historically under-represented in the creative industries – our training is influenced by the lived experience of many of our trainers and our daily work with marginalised groups

  • Accessible, interactive and reflectiveso people at all levels feel comfortable to raise questions, practice responses and reflect

Impact-focused we measure impact after each session and share key themes from this data with you

Legacy buildingwe provide post-training resources and work with you to consider further actions based on the feedback

Engaging content pitched for staff who had different levels of prior knowledge. A blend of input and discussion, and staff felt comfortable to share their own insights and experiences.
