Creative Access alumni speak to Press Gazette about lack of diversity in journalism industry

In a new article from Press Gazette, three Creative Access alumni spoke about the “shocking” lack of diversity in UK newsrooms, and how it makes young journalists of colour feel “disenfranchised” and “alienated”.

The article features Khaleda Rahman of Newsweek (who did her Creative Access internship with Newsquest), Helena Wadia of the Evening Standard (who did her Creative Access internship with Transparent TV), and Faima Bakar of the Metro (who did her Creative Access internship with Rowman & Littlefield).
