BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) is a military charity and media organisation with a mission to inform, entertain, connect and champion the UK serving military, their families and veterans. They have been keeping the armed forces connected and in touch for over 75 years, building morale and offering those overseas a valuable connection to life back home. They help them feel happier, know what’s going on around the world, share experiences and build communities. Today, their TV, radio and digital platforms offer entertainment, news, sport and information services to UK Forces (serving and retired), their families and anyone interested in the military.

BFBS are now looking for a video producer to join their creative team. They want someone passionate about filming, editing and creating social media content. The role will involve creating videos for a variety of clients. Their main HQ is in Buckinghamshire, where their production team is based, but the successful application will also work at at their London office and alongside the British Army and RAF in Andover and Lincoln (travel and accommodation is covered by the company).


  • Produce short and long form video for digital platforms and clients
  • Shooting, editing, and evaluating video content
  • Keeping up to date with latest digital trends
  • Run training sessions in video techniques
  • Evaluate performance of video content and adjusting strategies to suit audience interests



  • Have 2-3 years producing digital video
  • Creative, entrepreneurial and data-driven
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Comfortable using a range of filming equipment
  • An understanding of social media and digital trends


  • Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator
  • Drone experience
  • Understanding of digital analytics
