Brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic book lover to get first hand experience of publishing with the world’s largest university press…

Oxford University Press (OUP) is a department of the University of Oxford that furthers the University’s objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide.

OUP is the world’s largest university press with the widest global presence. It has become familiar to millions through a diverse publishing programme that includes scholarly works in all academic disciplines, bibles, music, school and college textbooks, children’s books, materials for teaching English as a foreign language, business books, dictionaries and reference books, and academic journals.

They are currently offering the opportunity to apply for their Summer Internship scheme. This will provide the opportunity for those interested in a career in publishing and business to gain valuable insights into a publishing house. It will also be a chance to experience work and life at a leading University Press. You will work on a defined project during the internship; these have previously covered a variety of areas from science to maths publishing and bilingual dictionaries to technology platforms.
