Production Runner

If you are looking to break into the film and TV industry, and want the chance to work on a new scripted comedy for ITV2, this entry level runner role could be your breakthrough opportunity..

Noho Film and TV is an independent television drama and film production company set up in 2012 by Robert Wulff-Cochrane and Camilla Campbell who are joint Managing Directors. Their recent productions include The Windsors for Channel 4 and Prime Suspect 1973 for ITV. Until 2011 they headed up the drama department at Channel 4 where they commissioned, among others, Misfits, Any Human Heart, Fresh Meat, Top Boy, Cast Offs, Skins and This Is England 86 and 88.

They are looking for a Production Runner on a new scripted zombie comedy for ITV2. You will be working under the direction of the line producer and other production staff, to undertake whatever basic tasks are required to ensure the smooth running of the production process. If you are driven, organised and have an interest in developing a career in the film and television industry, then they would love to hear from you!

Dates: 15/4/19 – 10/6/19 (2 x week prep, 6 x week shoot, 1 day clear up)

Location: London, with approximately one week of the shoot on location in Birmingham


  • Photocopying and general administrative work (such as distributing scripts and call sheets)
  • Driving cars, vans or trucks between locations and around sets
  • Fetching and carrying items, such as equipment, tapes, cable and scripts
  • Handing out post and messages to colleagues within the production team
  • Helping to set up a location for a shoot
  • Assisting with coordinating extras and crowd control duties
  • Keeping the set and production office clean and tidy
  • Making and handing out tea, coffee and lunches
  • Making arrangements for staff on location, such as booking meeting rooms or ordering food
  • Managing petty cash
  • Looking after guests
  • Transporting cast, crew and production staff between offices, studios and shoot locations
  • Transporting scripts and hire equipment
  • Undertaking basic research


  • Experience in a similar role would be great but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Prompt and efficient
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in
  • Good communication skills
