Midas PR are looking for an intern to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will learn how to build and run a PR campaign from start to finish. They will have a passion for culture and the arts. There will also be the opportunity to attend a number of events ranging across publishing trade events, author launches, award ceremonies and festivals.


  • PR strategy and planning
  • Writing effective and convincing copy for press releases and email pitches
  • Building media lists, running PR software, and conducting social media posts
  • Day to day liaison with arts journalists, securing coverage
  • Project management and creative brainstorming
  • Attending journalist meetings
  • Setting up publicity schedules, interviews, book signings and author events
  • Managing own responsibilities on allocated accounts, such as running a regional, digital or magazine campaign for assigned accounts
  • Working independently to achieve results, as well as working to supporting the teams you are working with


  • Interest in the books, culture and the wider arts is essential
  • Previous office experience in PR or journalism is preferred
