Established in 2006, IJPR creates innovative print and digital PR campaigns for the best British and international drama programmes, collaborating with UK broadcasters such as BBC, ITV and Sky, as well as AMC, PBS, HBO, Netflix and Amazon Prime in the US. They also manage the corporate communications for many of the UK’s most highly respected independent TV production companies. Recent campaigns include: The Crown, Killing Eve, Liar, Informer, His Dark Materials, Call the Midwife, Baptiste and Cold Feet.

As a PR Intern at IJPR, you will become part of a dynamic and exciting department, where you will support the publicity teams with their campaigns. During this internship, you will receive in-depth knowledge on how a TV press campaign comes together at every stage, from the early days of filming through to when it goes on air. The ideal candidate would be an open minded, team player with a can-do attitude who is passionate about television and pursuing a career in publicity.

  • Monitor, share and store press clippings
  • Website and social media management
  • Write copy for press materials
  • Create mailing lists and manage press contact database
  • Assist the publicity team at events which include press launches, junkets, premieres and screenings
  • Liaise with talent teams, broadcasters and clients to arrange logistics for press events and TV appearances
  • Manage digital assets including booking, editing, approvals and delivery
  • Act as general office runner when necessary and making sure the office runs smoothly


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organisational skills
  • Practical use of Microsoft office

  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience of Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Apple Mac is useful, not essential
