Curtis Brown is a leading international literary and talent agency, with a global reputation for excellence due to its extraordinary roster of clients within its actors, presenters and theatre, film and television, literary and below the line departments. The agents in the Talent Department represent a mix of actors, presenters and musical theatre performers.

They are looking for an intern to help offer dedicated support the office of a Talent Agent (Presenters) during a period of maternity leave.

The successful candidate will help deliver excellent customer care and systems administration in order to maximise success for the office and its clients. You will have previous experience of working in an office, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. It would also be useful if you have some experience of working in the creative industries.


  • Client care and maintaining a good relationship with clients, production companies and key business contacts
  • Helping the Assistant in ensuring that all administration for new clients is carried out quickly and efficiently
  • Updating client information and update the company website
  • Diary management
  • Assisting with contract signings and chasing late invoices
  • Being alert to and aware of the potential news worthiness of client’s work – as directed, organising interviews, press and shoots as required
  • Assisting with press and publicity schedules
  • General office and department administration;
  • Helping ensure that the office runs smoothly including filing, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, couriers and fan mail
  • Managing queries and internal communications as required


  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in your work
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills – you need to be able to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and with interruptions
  • Experience of using social media and website CMS
  • It would be useful if you have experience of video editing packages/software
  • It would be useful but not essential, if you have previous work experience within the creative industries
