Assistant House Manager

Bristol Music Trust is an eminent independent music venture that promotes music and music making in Bristol. Launched in 2011, they are behind developing a diverse musical programme for Bristol’s largest concert venue, Colston Hall. Their aim is to drive forward music across Bristol by leading on musical education, supporting local musicians and promoting music across all communities to build on the city’s vibrant talent. They want Bristol music scene to stand out with its own unique culture and internationally renowned reputation.

Bristol Music Trust are now looking for an Assistant House Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be positive and enthusiastic with previous experience in events delivery and hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high standards of customer service
  • Assist the House Manager in day to day management of the front of house facilities throughout the venue
  • Co-ordinate the set-up and delivery of events and activities
  • Ensure that services run efficiently and smoothly
  • Work closely with colleagues and team members

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • Previous operational experience in events delivery organisation either in the cultural or hospitality sector
  • Strong communicator and able to transfer complex information to staff
  • Excellent understanding of customer care
  • Passionate about working with people
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
