Marketing Account Executive

Part of the Mission Group, Chapter are an award-winning advertising agency. Although they are part of something big, they are a small, close-knit agency where there are constant opportunities to really make a mark. They work across all media, from TV and Press to all things digital. Chapter work in small supportive teams (working directly with the creative team), so everyone has an important role to play.

Chapter are looking for a Marketing Account Executive. The successful candidate will be confident and bright who has a burning passion to enter the world of advertising with a willingness to learn and a desire to make an impact.


  • Develop good day-to-day working relationships with all members of the agency
  • Develop good relationships with junior clients and deliver projects
  • Get close to client accounts and gain a rounded view of the clients’ businesses
  • Add value to a client account by doing industry research and competitive reviews
  • Develop a high attention to detail– proof reading communications and reports
  • Project manage smaller independent projects/tasks or assist with larger projects
  • Develop ability to interrogate client briefs and ensure and all information is collated in advance of internal creative briefings
  • Develop brief writing skills with an aim to eventually write clear, succinct content
  • Embrace a spirit of entrepreneurialism, through proactive ideas or contacts
  • Keep the team updated on industry news and spot opportunities relevant to a client’s business


  • Likely have a marketing, advertising or communications focused degree (or equivalent)
  • Great communicator – written and verbal, being a natural people person
  • Great attention to detail
  • Bright with a natural curiosity and a hunger to add value
  • Unafraid to express your opinions in a tactful way
  • Enthusiastic with a passion to learn about the advertising industry
