Senior Account Manager

Stronger Stories is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. This role will involve leading or co-leading key client accounts and responsibility for strategic and creative programmes. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead or co-lead key client accounts, providing counsel and developing important and exciting client relationships
  • Be responsible for efficient and effective programme planning and improving organisational processes
  • Develop strategic and creative programmes and add fresh thinking to address clients’ strategic and commercial objectives
  • Contribute to the organic growth of existing clients with new ideas and plans to enhance existing client campaigns
  • Work on and deliver innovative proposals and help lead business development
  • Develop creative content, ideas and campaigns for clients and wider community
  • Help shape the way the impact and effectiveness of work and campaigns is measured
  • Have financial responsibility for client budgets, and help develop commercial models that help grow business but also benefit wider community of storytellers through open resources and content
  • Develop own ideas and innovations, and entrepreneurial thinking will be actively supported

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • Desire to use skills to improve the world
  • Love of story, and appreciate the power of verbal, written and visual stories to accelerate change
  • Passionate, motivated and enthusiastic, with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent experience creating, planning and delivering multi-layered client programmes, ideally in comms or marketing
  • Curious with the desire to use analytical mind to solve some of society’s most challenge and systemic problems
  • Appreciation for the importance of programme outcomes and measuring impact, with knowledge on how to build strategies that bring about behaviour change
  • Extremely organised with great attention to detail
  • Experience of project management tools and platforms to support efficient and effective working
  • Enjoys managing teams up or down an organisation, and collaborative and supportive of team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative flair in the way work is planned and carried out, with the knowledge that even the most everyday of tasks can be approached with creativity
