Sage Publishing is looking for an Editorial Assistant in an exciting new internship opportunity. As an intern, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to one of the Editorial teams (Traditional Journals, Open Access Journals, Books and Product Innovation) on a variety of projects, working closely with colleagues across the business. They will be able to take advantage of a range of learning and development opportunities, including formal training and mentoring.


  • Assisting with preparing and reviewing proposal documents
  • Updating websites, submission guidelines and contact databases
  • Dealing with customer and author queries
  • Desk research on markets and for tenders and launches
  • Keeping up-to-date records
  • Data analysis
  • Supporting social media strategies
  • Writing copy, such as blurbs and catalogue content
  • Testing new product developments
  • General administrative duties


  • Able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for and understanding of higher education
  • Strong communication skills
  • PC and Microsoft Office literate
