Guardian Faber is looking for a temporary editor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have no less than four years of experience.

Responsibilities 

  • Your primary role will be to edit non-fiction on a range of subjects from current affairs and culture, sport and science to nature and humour
  • You will be expected to ensure the smooth running of the list and to present the books in internal meetings as needed

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Able to provide brilliant author care and write distinctive cover copy and briefs
  • The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate that they have editorial experience, as a guide no less than four years experience in editorial
