Business Development Manager

In a nutshell, Content Supply & Distribution is the backbone of ITV and is responsible for getting content from producers to broadcast and streaming platforms. They’re here to do that on time, everytime, with all of the metadata, video, images and access services needed to give the best possible experience to viewers. Their mission is to improve performance, reduce issues, and continuously evolve to deliver ITV’s growth.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers both within and outside of ITV
  • Identifying and contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and strategies
  • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Creating and executing Social Media/Marketing campaigns and engagement

The key role criteria is as follows:

  • Revise existing marketing strategy and implement it as well as devising a long time strategy for the department for external business
  • Securing meetings with those identified customers to sell their services and increase external sales
  • Build a comprehensive client list to enable CD to utilise data in order to boost revenue and awareness
  • Complete and RFI/RFP documentation for tenders
  • Feed into weekly and  monthly management board reporting
  • Manage the preparation of the monthly financial reporting within Salesforce and the Finance team
  • A full understanding of ITV Content Delivery or similar processes, capabilities and services provided will be desirable for this role
  • Keeping up to date with economic and business developments
  • Performing research into the market, customer trends, and competition in the market
  • To enter and maintain all existing and new client data in Salesforce
  • Preparing detailed business proposals which cover relevant goals and objectives
  • Attending networking events/conferences/initiatives with employees from other companies and potential customers
