Creative Access CEO talks to Radio New Zealand about Diversity in Publishing
Where is diversity in the creative industries? Co-founder and CEO of charity Creative Access, Josie Dobrin, travelled to New Zealand to speak at the Publisher’s Association of New Zealand’s biennial conference. Whilst she was there she spoke to radio host Kathryn Ryan about how to create more diversity in the creative industries, with a focus on publishing. 40% of London’s population is Black, Asian or of minority ethic origin (BAME), yet barely 5% of people in the creative industries are represented by people from these backgrounds.
