Fantastic turn out for our latest masterclass at the National Theatre
Last night, Creative Access was honoured to host our October masterclass at the world renowned, National Theatre. With well over 125 interns in attendance, the session gave a comprehensive insight into the theatre sector.
Our fantastic panel were on hand to offer our interns amazing advice on everything from the origins of theatre, through to the steps that the National Theatre are taking to tackle the lack of diversity in theatre. Each of the panel members talked about how they developed their careers and reminded our interns of the importance of networking. National Theatre’s Associate Director, Nadia Fall said “Make sure you collaborate with someone who wants it as much as you do. Get rid of dead weight. You can’t let anyone hold you back”.
A massive thanks to our fantastic panel:
Rufus Norris, Director at National Theatre
Emily McLaughlin, Head of New Work at National Theatre
Nadia Fall, Associate Director at National Theatre
Mark Dakin, Technical Director at Royal Opera House
